Asus has a new monitor 28 ” , details of which are 4K resolution and the destination gamer and prosumer segment , all for a price tag of 699 Euros VAT include.

It’s called PB287Q and is a display WLED ( White Light Emitting Diode) 16:9 28-inch with a resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels , all for a value equal to 157 PPI . His technical announces a brightness of 330 cd / m2 and a contrast ratio ( though it may be indicative ) ASCR ( ASUS Smart contrast Ratio) of 100.000.000:1 . But what matters most is the GTG Response Time ( Gray to Gray ) of 1 ms refresh rate to 60 Hz , exciting features for gamers.

As connectivity options are DisplayPort 1.2 for the support of content 4K/UHD up to 60 Hz and two HDMI ports (of which a MHL ) . The monitor technologies PiP ( Picture in Picture) and PbP ( Picture by Picture ) to switch between different sources , as well as Video Intelligence SplendidPlus , which aims to optimize video and images by managing the levels of brightness, contrast and sharpness.

In PB287Q are also offered two new modes – Reading and Darkroom – in addition to Scenery , Standard, Theater , sRGB , Game and Night View already present in earlier versions . Of note, then , the use of technologies EyeCare for flicker reduction and, consequently, to a vision of calm, and Vividpixel that acts directly on the perceived sharpness .
